Slipper and Rose Sketchdump 2

Well, this has quite a history! Around the age of four, my grandma absolutely brainwashed me with a little musical movie called The Slipper and the Rose from the seventies. Other people's grannies are cool, and let their kids watch John Wayne. My gran let me watch Richard Chamberlain non-stop instead. If you check out a coupla clips on Youtube, this may explain a lot about my psyche today (pretty dresses, guys in bad wigs, twirliness and general romantic tosh). But it still remains an awesome movie that I'll watch now and again. I present for your delectation - Cinderella toonage! complete with a very, VERY offensively pink ballgown I wanted like crazy when I was about four, and a rather sly costume homage the film makes to Fragonard's famous 'The Swing'.
